| Comments | The New XL T from TomTom is now available in glossy black. The only things that have changed are the colour of its body and the maps included; all the other features remain the same. The New XL T GPS for Europe (Black Edition) boasts maps for 42 European countries and is loaded with the latest navigation technologies for maximum user-friendliness.
It has a 4.3-inch touch screen for those of you who prefer a larger display, and a full set of different maps, giving you all the information you need to travel along the roads of Western Europe without getting lost.
TomTom has also equipped the New XL T for Europe (Black Edition) with a brand-new mounting system - known as the EasyPort - which can be left on the GPS and folded flat after use, and a built-in MAPSHARE function, so you can make changes to maps yourself. These changes can include corrections of street names, speed limits, traffic directions, turn restrictions and other elements. MAPSHARE enables you to send these updates to other members of the TomTom community by simply connecting your device to a computer.
The New XL T for Europe (Black Edition) even boasts a database listing the positions of speed cameras and points of interest, as well as an RDS-TMC receiver for avoiding traffic jams and obstacles on the road.
Your device will be updated for free if a more recent map is available within the 30 days following the date you first use your GPS (1st GPS fix). TomTom Home software required. |
