It’s lightweight and versatile, and amazingly powerful and easy to handle. The HVR-Z7E uses Exmor technology, making it compatible with most Alpha-type lenses more commonly found on Sony’s digital SLR cameras. The HVR-Z7E also supports Canon and Fujinon HD bayonet 1/3” lenses and 2/3” professional lenses with optional adapters. In addition to its Tri-CMOS sensor and Enhanced Imaging Processor, the HVR-Z7E captures and records images in Full HD format, onto miniDV and DVCAM tapes, and Compact Flash memory cards, so you’ll be spoilt for choice! Thanks to the HVR-S270E, you’ll be able to switch from HDV to DV formats easily, and even convert the resolution of your HDV 1080i videos into 576i using its FireWire output. The HVR-Z7E is equipped with a number of handy entries and outputs, including FireWire, HDMI and video, and even has an audio XLR socket for adding a microphone. The HVR-Z7E comes complete with an accessories hot shoe, which is ideal for accommodating a video lamp or a second microphone.
